I am the mother of two young men and the wife of a much older one. I have spent about 30 years of my life working in an office.

In my early 20s, I painted several oil paintings. Several of these were fairly good, especially the portraits. I have written off and on (I admit it - mostly off) during my stay on the planet. I am quite proud of some creative bits I have committed to paper. I have written emotional, sensual pieces but also vignettes of family. I am inspired by trauma - well, my own mostly but am now feeling the need to look outward to other's stories. "It's so sad," is not enough. From the petty annoyances of our everyday, humming-along world to the immense sorrow brought on by the whims of the weather and other people, there are many stories that need to be told. I want to be a provider of emotional tools, a distributor of knowledge, a storyteller.
